The Sales Page theme of a website holds a special significance for me. I am a strong advocate for sales pages because when crafted effectively, they can significantly enhance your ability to market your service.
However, it’s crucial to construct them thoughtfully, ensuring that specific sections are never neglected.
That’s why back in 2016, I developed and launched “Sales Page of (your) wonders,” an on-demand course designed to help you create your best sales page, enabling you to sell your service and expand your portfolio by attracting the right customers—those who actually make purchases.
Today, I am excited to share the complete course with you and, in this initial article, provide all the essential steps for writing an effective sales page with care.
Let’s start with the first 3 steps:
Write the title and subtitle of your landing page
How to Talk to Customer for Frustrations
How to Show Your Solution to His Quries
Take care of the title and subtitle of Sale Pages
I’ll tell you a secret! Which isn’t however a secret.
Most visitors won’t read your entire Sales Page, but they’ll notice the title (your service name) and the subtitle (brief explanation) immediately.
Since customers online are often in a rush, invest time in crafting your title. Clearly and simply describe what you offer and who it’s for in just two lines.
Is it an online Photoshop course, a handmade bag, or beach wedding photography?
Is it aimed at beginner graphic designers, women who appreciate handmade products, or young couples looking for seaside memories?
Ensure that your title is appealing, captivating, and encourages readers to continue down the page.
Also, aim for a straightforward title.
Don’t be afraid to be. It’s for you, but not for your customers. Introduce right away what your sales page is about. Don’t force them to figure it out by customers or read it at the end. That way you’ll lose them.
Here is an example of a title
Photoshop without problems, the online course for newbie graphic designers who want to use it with their eyes closed. It lasts 4 weeks.
Talk to your frustration
It’s time to complete your Sales Page. This is the crucial section where you address the core challenges your customer faces.
Here, you need to focus on their struggles, their significant issues, their insecurities, and the hard work they’ve invested. Show them that you truly understand what they are experiencing. Use specific language, practical examples, and sentences that illustrate their past experiences.
Make them relive that uncomfortable feeling—not out of any desire for suffering, but to help them recognize that you are genuinely in tune with their situation. You need to convey that you fully grasp what they’re going through and that positive change is possible with your guidance.
If they can’t visualize their frustration as vividly as a scene from a movie, they won’t feel personally addressed. If they don’t sense that you see them and truly comprehend their predicament, they will never think, “This is for me.”
Examples of sentences that include the first
Do you remember when…? Do you see yourself in this situation?
Have you ever felt this way?
Does this sound familiar to you?
Show your solution
It’s time to showcase your solution.
Buy from you:
a solution
a relief
an advantage
a moment of happiness
The how matters less to him than the what, even if it is necessary. Also put importance on the advantages and results that he will have thanks to your chage. Avoid empty words such as serenity, awareness.
Here are some example sentences with your solution
What if it doesn’t have to be that way?
I have the perfect solution for…
Imagine if your niche was like this…
You will finally get/be able/feel/do…
